A 'lil bit about Country
|
I must go down to the sea again,
To the lonely sea and the sky.
All I ask is a tall ship
and a star to steer her by.

I spent the first 57 years
of my life in New York state-
born & raised in NYC~Greenwich Village,
attended Syracuse University in the 60s,
then raised my kids & made my home
in South/Central New York.

| Then I lived in the Great State of Texas for 3 years.. I moved to the Beautiful (Piney) Woods of East Texas in February of 98. I loved living there ~ the weather was superb - the folks were terrific - even if they DO talk kinda strange - "Howdy neybah!" - "How ya doin', bubba?" etc, etc.. I moved back to cenrtal New York in 2001, but in my heart - I'll always be a little bit Texan!

I have been living on the Eastern Shore of the Commonwealth of Virginia since June of 2005. Having grown up spending summers at the ocean in Rhode Island, I am back by the sea now and loving every minute of it. There's lots to see and do here, and even more to learn. This area is rich in history. I am home - at last!

I have made my home with the most marvelous man. We were married on July 5th of 2006. We share a deep love of the shore, spending as much time as possible at the beach and on Chincoteague Bay. He is my best friend, the love of my life ~ My Soul Mate! Thank you sweetheart for making me so happy! |

My wonderful Father passed away in October '99 and will be missed by all who knew him. I continue to stay busy teaching folks how to use their computers, doing freelance web design and graphics. I'm spending time learning more about our Native Americans - their hetitage and their languages. I'm studying the Lakota language on-line.

The remainder of my time is devoted to my Family, 3 grown kids, two marvelous granddaughters and a grandson, and to my wonderful friends both on the web and in the *real world*. Y'all know who you are, and I'll always cherish these friendships:-)
